Jiminy Cricket

Jiminy Cricket is more than  Pinocchio's friend he is part of Pinocchio - his conscience, his a loving giding conscious. Whispering and being a still small voice must have been frustrating at times for Jiminy however he never gave up loving Pinocchio and when Pinocchio again sought advice after many hard learned lessons - Jiminy held no grudge. He continued  to lovingly support Pinocchio to make positive choices.

 He is a helper a sometimes though at times seemingly insignificant and small.
Easy to listen to when encouraging and positive about what Pinocchio wants to do. How such a tiny sounding voice easily pushed aside when it speaks what we sometimes know to be true - willingness to hear is challenged.
Listening and hearing are many times two different things.
Your conscience is your best friend, that funny feeling that calls out 'wait! this is not the way to go' could indeed save heartache.
